Whittington Park is a popular park in the north of the Islington, named after Dick Whittington. The park features a children's playground with sand pits and water features, natural play area, wildlife pond and ecology garden, woodland, RSPB sparrow meadow, war memorial, community classroom and children's centre. There is also a full size, floodlit, Astroturf football pitch with step free access and changing rooms, two outdoor table tennis tables and a free outdoor gym facility.
