The Charterhouse is a seven-acre heritage site between Barbican and Farringdon that dates back to 1348. It has been a medieval monastery, a grand Tudor mansion, and since 1611, an almshouse. Set in beautiful grounds, there are formal gardens, the Wash-house Court, the Master's Court and the Chapel Court. With many options of spaces, offering thrilling architecture and interiors that have witnessed significant moments in London’s history, the Charterhouse is a stunning and authentic backdrop for films and photoshoots. There is significant space for crews and equipment, including Charterhouse Square outside, which the Charterhouse owns, and a very experienced team on hand.
