The Nest library and community building is a stunning multi-use space at the heart of the Peabody regeneration of Thamesmead, on Cygnet Square. The building is set over two floors with an additional mezzanine level. The library is located on the ground floor offering a variety of study areas in addition to a café, meeting rooms, children's library and IT suite. The community space is located on the mezzanine and first floors and has a number of flexible areas from hot desking, an enterprise zone, a health room and a meeting space. There is also a large event space with access to an outside terrace area overlooking Southmere Lake that can hold up to 100 people. All spaces also have access to a kitchen area and come with tables and chairs. All of them can be used for filming as well as green rooms, crowd holding, dining, etc. There is also a unit base within a five minutes drive.
