Ox Bow Island, situated off Leyton Marsh in Lee Valley Regional Park, was created by the natural meandering of the River Lea. Swans, coots, moorhens and mallards can be found in the Ox Bow backwater. A natural tree barrier screens the island from the nearby Ice Centre and its car park. Parking is available at the WaterWorks Nature Reserve car park, a short walk away - please note that the Ice Centre car park is not available for film crews.
