Foots Cray Meadows is an area of parkland and woodland (nearly 250 acres in all). It is the largest open space in the borough and consists of rolling fields, wildflower meadows and woodland. The River Cray runs right through the heart of it and can be crossed via the magnificent Five Arches Bridge which was built during the 18th century. The stable block remains the only standing part of the Foots Cray Estate.
