Pretty, four acre green in Purley, Croydon. Woodcote Village Green was laid out in 1903 with stocks which are still in-situ. The post office, built circa 1907, was originally a temperance inn and still retains the period look. Pretty period cottages and houses surround the green, part of the original Woodcote Model Village layout by William Webb.
